WE are learning about how we advertise

ourselves online

we talked about only posting things 

online that keep us safe we learned 

how tagging photos and posts make

it easier to find out about someone so

we need to be careful about our 

post content.

next we had made a map showing some of the places we have been on our computer and the places we had to go to see then was our history and the last week history and some of the places i went were google drawings and google sides and google docs and google maps and the another places i went to were Incredibox and webcam toy and google and email and my blog and google site and scratch and after that we put it on our blog and after we show the teacher our work and post it on my blog for another school to see my work and.

Recess should not go for longer

  Recess should not go for longer                                                                                                               it is without doubt that recess should not go for longer because we need fresh air and we need to have free time with our friends and have a break from working too much in class. and the teachers need time out with the other teachers and they might have to go to an important meeting and we need food to keep our brain active for when we go back into class and another thing is its that recess is longer If not  students won't be able to focus in class get enough exercise to be healthy or interact with other kids and make friends  If students have longer recess they will burn off energy and can focus more in class

Next time I need to be more focused on the book then the just doing what ever

Clickety-Clack Cicada.

We have been learning about language features.

Some of the language features that I have found were metaphors, adjectives, verbs, and onomatopoeia.

The poem that I read was called Clickety-Clack Cicada by Jill Brasell.

I found it easy to read the poem because it didn't have too many words and they were easy for me to understand.

I found it tricky to find some of the language features such as verbs because I am still just learning about them.

I really enjoyed colouring in my poem and creating a colourful border.

Next time I could try using some of these language features in my own writing to improve how well I can write.

The Loaves

THE LOAVES,
We were learning about metaphors.
A metaphor compares 2 different things. 
In this poem the author used metaphor to compare bread to clouds.


I found it easy to do the background.
I found it hard to glue it in and to do the lines.
I really enjoyed drawing the background.
Next time I need to focus on it.

The three little cats and the big bad dogs

The three little cat´s and the big bad dog. Not so far and not so long there was a big city and in that city there lived a house and in that house there lived three cats. Their names were Ariana, Grande, and Billie. Their mumś name was Cardi B, their mum was so big, there wasn't enough room for her. She had an idea how to get more room. She went to the three cats she told them to¨ get out¨ but then they asked ¨why?¨ and then the mum replied back ¨I am too fat and I need more room so youś have to go and live somewhere else¨ ¨But just beware of the big bad dog¨. ¨It is the best thing so I don't squish you all¨. So they went to go and find somewhere to live. One little cat went and lived in a mansion as a doctor, and the second little cat went and lived in a car as a policeman and the third little cat lived in a van as an artist. One of the little cat’s got paid enough so then the little cat went and built a house just like their mum asked. So he went and built one house out of a nest but that did not go well. Then he built his next house, he made it out of cake, but then he got hungry and decided to eat the house. So then he screamed his lungs out and then he had another idea he wood make his house of flax and then he said to his brothers come over and stay. So they all came over the first little cat with the mansion sold his house and the other little cat sold his car. Just before they got there they saw the big bad dog and his razor sharp teeth and beady eyes. He had a very long nose and greasy hair. The big bad dog pounced on them and ate them. Then the last little cat came and chopped the big bad dogs head off and then cut his stomach open and got the two cats out. But there were more cats and rats in the dog. You name it, it was in there. But the cat was only there for his brother and sister and they lived happily ever after.
